Serial numbers can give you a rough age of a watch and that is also easily reached via google and 3rd party sources. The Omega Db just had model numbers also. But you can google the model number which is on the inside of the case back. Posts 12, Likes 16, There is no way to search by serial number even on Omegas website. Posts 8, Likes 18, Just google "omega serial numbers" numerous lists will show up. I know its provenance, but want to research it for resale value. The Omega resource that is referenced seems to have been taken offline.
I have tried doing some reading in the forum to learn how to do research on a watch based on its serial number.
